Ideally - the fastest way to take notes on your Mac

If you are looking for a helpful, nice and simple quick note tool to manage your notes, you've come to the right place. Ideally is the app you should consider to fit that missing gear in a daily workflow mechanism on your Mac.

The app is easy to use. Hotkeys, swipe gestures, animations help you navigate between views that look like a notepad. The app supports file drag&drop, which makes it unique in the family of Mac quick note-taking apps out there. You can also store images and text from Safari and other apps.

Let’s say, you’ve just found an awesome image on the web. Want to add it to your note? Here are the 2 scenarios:

- You can save the image’s URL. Just drag&drop the image on to the text area of the
note.

- Save this image as a file, just drop it on to the files area in the bottom of the note. Everything's simple and right at your fingertips in your menu bar.

Yes, this is a menu bar app, but you can easily detach it from it and drag to anywhere on your desktop if you want to.

Ideally also allows you to zip, email, preview files right inside the app, which is great, as there's no need to bounce between desktop or file
system.

To keep your notes and files backed up, Ideally uses Dropbox sync which is activated in the Preferences window. Restoring and backing up is a one click action as soon as you link your Dropbox account with Ideally. The backup scheduler is also at your service.
Even though Ideally has file support, it'd be a bad idea to store big files there like music or vids, which exceed 200 Mb, cause the app is obviously not for this. Another reason against chunky files it that they'll make the BackUp /Restore process take longer than you might expect, but still this depends on your Internet connection.
Other than that, if you plan to store some docs, images, PDF, screenshots, webpages, text files - it's a great tool to use for notes on a daily basis.

Bottom line
What makes Ideally really stand out among other quick note taking apps is the ability to store not just notes, but files inside it + Dropbox Restore & Backup feature make your notes pretty much immortal. :) The app updates almost every week, so new features are coming pretty quick.

It's now available on the Mac AppStore with a 25% OFF launch discount for only $4.99 , so definitely worth a try.

Apple introduces the iPhone 5S and 5C iPhone!

The iPhone 5C is designed with all the technologies that the iPhone 5 have," says Phil Schiller. In other words, it is a repackaged version of iPhone 5. "Some of you must have seen pictures on the web," laughs the marketing vice president of Apple, “and that's good, because everyone will be interested in this model.” The iPhone5C is available in white and in other four bright colors; that is green, blue, red and yellow watermelon. The default wallpaper is coordinated with colors chosen, which recalls the grand old memories owners’ iMac G3. Back gloss polycarbonate is manufactured in one piece, internally reinforced by a metal frame acting as an antenna. Apple offers strange matte silicone covers with holes to see the original color below. One can thus associate a yellow cover with a pink iPhone 5C. These covers are worth € 29 unit. The main components of this iPhone 5C are the 4-inch Retina display, Apple's A6 processor or its 8MP sensor placed behind a five optical elements - all are borrowed from the iPhone 5. The capacity of the battery has been nominally increased, the sensor the front HD webcam is a little bigger that is pixels 1.9 microns, and 4G LTE chip supports more. The iPhone 5C will be available for $ 99 in 16 GB version and $ 199 for 32GB version, in contract package. Euro prices are known for basic models: € 599 for the 16GB version, € 699 for the 32GB version - it's expensive, much more expensive than expected.

iTunes Radio ready for launch in September!

According to the AdAge site, Apple will launch its listening to music streaming services next month. It will consist of a free offer punctuated with advertisements and a paid service for audio and video via a iTunes Match. The countdown has started for the start of iTunes Radio, AdAge says as well as listening to streaming music service by Apple. iTunes Radio based on a free offer supported by advertising. According to AdAge, Apple has already signed agreements with McDonald's, Nissan, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble. The entry tickets would range from a few million to several tens of millions of dollars for current 12-month campaign. The first advertisers will have exclusivity in their respective sectors until 2013. In the free version, iTunes Radio impose audio every 15 minutes with commercials and a video ad for every hour. To be sure a video is viewed, it will be triggered only after the user has pressed the play button or next.

Initially, the ads will appear on all compatible devices with iTunes, but from 2014, advertisers can target specific devices. The price of the advertisements will be proportional to the screen size. Customers will be able to opt for a version of iTunes Radio without advertising, but they will have to subscribe to iTunes Match services (24.99 Euros / year) for storing personal music in the cloud. Apple also plans to earn revenue from the sale of pieces and a "buy" button will appear next to each title. The exact launch date of the service is not specified, but it could perhaps intervene on September 10 on the occasion of the presentation of new or iPhone. Apple said iTunes Radio will initially be available in the United States before being extended to other countries.

PNY Storedge provides 128 GB of additional memory in Macbook

PNY Storedge has introduced the  a solution for Apple's Macbooks that fits into the SD card slot and up to 128 GB of additional space allows. Macbooks with fixed SSD is ideal for this option. The Storedge looks like a scaled-SD card that only so far as it is out of the Macbook is necessary so that they can be pulled out again. Compared with SDXC cards Storedge the cards, however, are not exactly a bargain. The 64-GB module costs around 100 dollars and the model with 128 GB is offered for $ 200. A similar idea how PNY Storedge had is also used by the manufacturer of the adapter Nifty Drive, which was successfully funded via Kickstarter. The Nifty Drive has no own memory, but is equipped with a micro SD card and then sunk completely into the memory card slot of the Macbook. To fish out the adapter again, a paper clip or a similar pointed object must be used. The Macbook Air and the MacBook Pro with Retina screen cannot upgrade from Apple later with more SSD storage. A maximum of 768 GB SSDs orderable, but the memory is very expensive. For example, the MacBook Pro 13-inch large screen instead prefers to 256 GB 128 GB of memory; you must pay an additional fee of 200 Euros. For the upgrade to 768 GB even may cost around 900 Euros.

LG G2 - The best Android phone yet?

LG announced their long awaited G2 smartphone two weeks ago to much fan-fair in New York. The phone made headlines across the world and is sure to be a best seller, but is it the best smartphone that money can buy? We decided to pit it against major phones from Samsung, HTC, Apple and others to see if this truly is the best phone of the year.
What caught most of the media attention in the announcement of the LG G2 was the unusual placement of the home button. While almost all smartphones place the home button below the screen, LG innovatively moved it to the back of the device just below the camera. This way they were able to increase the size of the screen without the phone becoming bulky. The results are certainly attractive - the thin bezel makes the phone look like a masterpiece of minimalist design - but is it functional? One thing that's for certain is that it will take a little getting used to. Most of us grip our phones in a way that will allow us to easily use the button (which can also be used for other functions such as volume control), but after years of using a below screen home button changing habits might not come easy.
If you don't mind using the rather unusual home button, the main way to compare this phone with other Android devices is on speed. With a Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core 2.3GHz processor described as a "power horse" by one blog, no currently available mobile can compete when it comes to processing power. The chip is so good that it's unlikely that even Apple's upcoming iPhone 5S, rumoured to be unveiled on September 10th, will be able to compete.
But as every geek knows, there's more to speed than processing power. RAM, where our devices store data that's being processed, is also important. Here the LG G2 matches up to the standard 2GB that every high end phone has been fitted with this year, but falls behind the 3GB chip that is expected in the Samsung Galaxy Note III which will be launched shortly.
Storage is one area where phones haven't really seen major improvements in recent years and while the LG G2 comes with respectable offerings of either 16GB or 32GB, it doesn't come with the all important micro SD card slot favoured by those who regularly use their phones for photography.
Camera phone photographers aren't likely to be opting for this device anyway. While the 13 megapixel main camera is respectable, it is significantly lower than other offerings on the market including the Nokia Lumia 1020 with its 41 megapixel chip. The camera does have optical image stabilisation and a sapphire lens, so there's no reason to be put off the phone if you only use the camera casually though. It's also capable of 1080p video recording which is about as good as you'll find on any smartphone.
The screen on the device is arguably the best feature. Coming in at 5.2" inches places the device between a traditional smartphone and a phablet. The screen is larger than the 5" display on the bestselling Samsung Galaxy S4, but thanks to the thin bezel the phone feels smaller than Samsung's rather chunky device. It's also got a full HD resolution and an amazingly bright panel, perfect for use on sunny days.
Would we recommend the LG G2 over the other main devices on the market? The specs do mean the device will be marginally faster than the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and other major Android phones, but not enough to say conclusively that this should be your only option. The phone design is better than the S4, but only about equal to the Sony Xperia Z or HTC One. If you're an Apple user considering switching to Android you might be better to wait to see what Apple announces in a few weeks before making the decision to switch. If you're still not certain if this is the phone for you go try it out when it comes to your local phone store.
Greg Richardson is an Edinburgh based Android developer who regularly uses dozens of Android phones while developing educational apps for Android. He still hasn't convinced his wife to switch from her iPhone.

iPhone 5S May have a fingerprint reader!

The future iPhone 5S could integrate a fingerprint reader. This rumor comes from iOS 4 beta 7. The site 9to5Mac found a file called "BiometricKitUI" by downloading the iOS 4 beta 7.Apple has released the latest version of iOS 4 beta 7 to developers last night. Some changes are from the previous version and one of them confirmed the rumors by spotting the code. A biometric reader could equip the future iPhone 5S of Apple brand. According to the latest rumors, the new Smartphone from Apple should be presented in the fall of September or October. Hamza Sood, a developer has identified in the code of iOS 4 beta 7 data suggesting to the next integration of a fingerprint reader in the "Home" button on the Smartphone. Code, after consideration shows that the iPhone user will have to put his thumb on the Home key and imprint will appear in the image and provides access to the Smartphone, instead of a PIN . This code is written in a file named "BiometricKitUI" and a line indicates "fingerprint." The biometric reader is not the back of the device but rather integrated into the Home button. This recognition would drive according to sources close to the case to access the terminal but not necessarily secure payments. It will take an official confirmation of the Apple brand that has at present said nothing about what probable fingerprint reader.

Mavericks DP4 integrated with LinkedIn

The fourth version of OS X 10.9 released yesterday, currently it is only reserved for paying developers. The integration of professional social network LinkedIn has been known since from the early versions, but it was not effective before the DP4. After entering the password in System Preferences, you can send a status from Notification Center. The principle is exactly the same as Twitter, Facebook, and iMessage, and even the interface does not change. Incidentally, a fourth icon is added to this place and we would choose the icons whether it should be displayed or not. OS X Mavericks, however, imposes activate all icons sharing, or remove them all.  As with other social networks already built into OS X, the integration of LinkedIn is also done in the browser for internet addresses, or by selecting the text and choosing the right option of sharing in the secondary menu.

Compared to Twitter and Facebook on the other hand, we cannot share a picture.
Another common point is the integration of the address book. Your LinkedIn contacts are automatically retrieved and stored in Contacts with a separate group and the fusion of information for those already present. It can also, in System Preferences, expand its address book with pictures of the profiles on the network. Beyond the integration of LinkedIn, a few more minor changes are noted in the fourth beta. The installation screen has been modified and adopted a very white minimalist interface that is reminiscent of iOS 7.  Finally in Mission Control, you can scroll through the office windows using the usual gesture trackpad (three or four fingers to the left or to the right). This is very convenient for you to quickly find the window you are seeking. The self-correcting OS X Mavericks did not change the operation, but it changes slightly on the form. The words are not corrected automatically underlined in blue, but bright green. The goal was to make them more visible, it succeeded.

Motorola rdu2020 two way radios

Many smaller sports venues are beginning to take advantage of all the beneficial features of two way radios. Here are some of the ways that the employees at these venues are making good use of their walkie-talkies.

With two way radios, employees working at small baseball or football fields can remain in contact with one another. This can help when visitors are looking for seats to watch the game. One employee with a walkie-talkie in the entrance area of the field can talk to another who is circulating throughout the seating area. He or she can report the number of seats available in a certain section. This helps visitors to the ball field to avoid the frustration of walking around looking for empty seats.

Another place where small sports venues use walkie-talkies is in the concession area. One employee in the concession area with a walkie-talkie can contact another employee who is close to the storage facility. The person can request various items that are running low in the concession stand. Once again, this helps employees to avoid wasting time walking back and forth from storage to the concession area.

Finally, security employees working at the ball field can easily communicate with one another via walkie-talkies. Not surprisingly, security personnel who are in constant contact with one another are able to take care of any disturbances at the ball field in quick, efficient fashion. The motorola rdu2020 two way radios are capable of accomplishing these tasks at a small sports venue.

VLC is back on the App Store

The iOS version of VLC media player is available again after being removed from the App Store in January 2011 due to a compatibility problem with the GPL. This is good news for iOS users; the VLC player is back on the App Store after being removed in January 2011 and by that time, a dispute had arisen between the developers of the open source media player which was published under the GPLv2 license. However, the conditions of use of the App Store in some respects contradicted the terms of such license. As a result, one of the developers had obtained the removal of VLC. Now, VLC 2.0 is released under GPLv2 and MPLv2 (Mozilla Public License) dual license. Incidentally, this new version brings changes in depth, including the management of multi core architecture and the management of all video codecs supported in the version of VLC Desktop. Also on the menu, subtitles and AirPlay compatibility for playback on external displays. VideoLAN also indicated that SDK will arrive later this summer.

Share documents for free with Share Bucket

Share Bucket is a small free application for sharing documents on the model Skitch. Installed in the menu bar, then it uses Dropbox, SkyDrive or Google Drive as a means of sharing. In the case of screenshots, images are immediately transferred to a service folder that has your preference which is a switchable option; Dropbox also offers this facility very recently. Notification signals the end of the task. The image which is going to be sent online is associated with a sharing link automatically placed in the clipboard. Just paste into an email or chat. If necessary, Photo Bucket will automatically delete these files after a delay of a few days specified by the user preferences.

Another method to quickly share any file is to the drag on the utility icon in the menu bar. Again, a link sharing is generated once it joined the Dropbox. Photo Bucket offers a few simple tools to share content like pen, shapes, text. The highlighter tool and blurring an area are particularly useful. There is a choice of recording format (png, jpeg, tiff, pdf) and the destination is on your Mac, or directly in the share folder. Are absent by cons, functions to crop an image and change its size before recording. This freeware is in English, very simple and easy to use.

Japan planning to broadcast streaming video 4K HEVC / H.265

Japan has tested broadcasting 4K streaming programs. 4K TVs are starting to appear in stores, but the 4K may not really take off in public until TV shows are available in 4K. For now, the 4K contents are very rare. Sony has announced this summer a Media Player 4K FMP-X1 containing 10 hits Hollywood 4K preinstalled and a service this fall to rent or buy movies via internet 4K Video Unlimited. Sony also announced that his future PS4 would be able to read HEVC/H.265 videos. Yet the consumer electronics manufacturers have not started to offer 4K TV models so for and even after the announcements of last year. The proposed Sony 84-inch 4K TV price is set at $ 25,000 and the prices seem to go down a little more realistic levels. Whatever (digital satellite, terrestrial, cable, or via the Internet by IP) be the broadcasting system, the bandwidth is a major problem with ultra-high resolution images with a resolution 4K or even 8K (7680 x 4320 pixels). Just to 4K, with a four times greater than high definition "standard" size, current technologies encoding are no longer valid. Five minutes 8K uncompressed video can occupy 1TB of storage space. At the beginning of the year, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has approved the MPEG-H HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), also known under the name of H.265. It offers more effective than the current four times H.264 compression, reducing bandwidth by half without degrading the image more than that does in MPEG-2 H.264 system.

The TV channels around the world seem to look more and more like a business model that would see the broadcasts through the Net instead, or in addition, a radio broadcast. The current flows internet connections are unable to display 4K video in real time. But streaming solutions of these programs are being put in place. Telco Japanese leading company conducted tests on 4K video streams streamed via the Internet, using an encoding HEVC/H.265 end to end. The set-top box to the user unpacks the videos before posting them on a 4K TV. Japan also announced it would be the first country to offer 4K satellite images in 2014 for the World Cup football. Another piece in the puzzle of the dissemination of high definition TV programs that is taking place gradually, NHK, very present on the front of the high definition 4K or 8K, Japan called Super Hi-Vision, presented an 8K encoder developed with Mitsubishi. It uses a parallel architecture to achieve compress images quickly enough. It divides each frame into 17 bands of 7680 x 256 pixels to compress more efficiently. The area at the juncture of two bands is used by both (they share information-speed and direction-for animated objects) to avoid image degradation in border areas. The decoder works in real time at 60 Hz. The two companies are working on a new faster version, 120 Hz, the rate of the "Super Hi-Vision" Japanese. Japan in July 2014 begin broadcasting NHK 4K, and from 2016 to 8K. At first, the broadcast will take place via satellite. The side of the portable terminal as the HVEC/H.265 codec begins to point the tip of his nose. Earlier this year, NTT Docomo announced a HEVC software solution for its Android Smartphones. The CPU of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 also decompresses video H.265. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is capable of displaying HEVC/H.265 videos.

Changes in iOS 7 Beta 3

Apple released recently the third beta version of iOS 7. Still reserved for developers, this new version includes a lot of new, both in the interface functions. From version to version, Apple refines the interface of its new mobile system, but did not alter the main new iOS 7. Moreover, the icons that have been talked about as they have not changed; the new features of this third beta are much more subtle and related policies or levels of transparency.  On the Lock screen, the status bar has been slightly enlarged and the information at the top of the screen is slightly larger. However, the arrows at the top and bottom are still present, although they are often problematic. Once unlocked iPhone, we note that the files have a transparent background as before. It's subtle, but the background is easier to see the screen on the back as before with the third beta.

Moreover, Apple has also changed the font here and there. In the Weather app; same principle is followed and in the Notification Center; the screen that displays your day right with a smaller font.
iOS 7 is having slightly thicker fonts from now. This is evident in the list of options here as in Mail or in the list of notifications. The new basic policy iOS 7 is coarser than before. When an application is being downloaded, it is no longer entitled to the right bar of iOS 6. Apple's new system now has a dark first round, which is becoming increasingly transparent as and when loading and installation. When the operation is complete, the icon appears completely. Among the subtle changes that can be noted, Spotlight now appears in a slip and not a transparent effect. It also identifies some losses: the effect of transparency in key calculator (it has always been in the Phone application) or the animated for charging in the status bar icon.

The Music application evolves in small steps with new icons at the bottom and adjustments elsewhere in the positioning of text or icons. The song playing is now indicated by an icon that symbolizes the music going with a three-bar graphic. The biggest innovation, however, is probably the return of stars that can record their songs. Totally absent from the previous two betas, they make a remarkable comeback. To view them, just a tap on the song name and it is replaced with the traditional five locations that can record the song in question. iOS 7 Beta 3 is equally capable of displaying notes already present than to put new.

Alongside music, Apple has a priority to fix bugs Podcasts and application work properly now. With this beta, you must again activate synchronization with iCloud keychain. Apple states that the function is not compatible with previous betas, or with OS X 10.9 DP2. About this feature, iOS 7 now proposes to add a credit card from the Safari settings. To activate the bunch iCloud requires a security code. We can now record a credit card in the settings of Safari. On the month view, calendar iOS reappears when one day a bubble is composed of at least one appointment. The bubble does not vary depending on the timing involved, or the number of events, so that the information is not really useful.

In the Contacts view, the search box is permanently displayed at the top of the list. It is convenient to search for a particular contact without having to go top of the screen. This revised view is also present in the phone application. The tablets are also entitled to some adjustments with the third beta. The mini iPad benefits most from this third beta. On the other hand it is now fine fonts are best suited to its non-Retina display. Another significant innovation is the best small tablet displays applications that have not been optimized for the iPad. Specifically, the text is not as pixilated, if not Retina, obviously. On the iPad, iOS beta 7 seems to finally gain both in terms of speed and stability. That makes sense; Apple began with the iPhone, before looking at the tablet. Siri is entitled to new voices: no big changes, but they are more pleasing to the ear with the third beta. Recall iOS 7 lets you choose between a male voice and one female. The voice assistant also gained some speed with this beta.

The keyboard has been slightly modified with iOS 7 Beta 3. When it is present, it cannot display the control center which usually with a slip from the bottom shows. This change is useful to use the drag gesture of the "123" button to get a number or special character quickly. The keyboard has also been changed in mobile Safari. The key that was used to add a "Uk" next to the space bar no longer displays one point. It takes a tap maintained to quickly complete a domain name, but this change also captures simply points within domain names. This is undoubtedly more convenient, especially the space bar has more space. About Safari, the browser finds a full screen on the iPhone mode. In landscape mode, both scroll bars disappear when leaving any room for the content. Based on early returns, iOS 7 is faster on the iPhone 4 and even though it is still not as smooth as with iOS 6, users of this model can apparently finally enjoy every day.

MacBook Air in 2013

The good news is that all models of Macbook Air are having same processor and they have a 11 or 13 inch screen. Hence deciding how to select a MacBook Air is little bit confusing here we are going to give you some to choose a best suited model for you.The four models of MacBook Air 2013 differ only in the size of the screen and the amount of storage and all of them have the same processor (Intel Core i5-4250U 1.3GHz) and the same graphics chip (the Intel HD Graphics 5000). Hence it is not possible to choose one model over the other based on performance, and all are all the same in this regard. This parameter has nevertheless lost importance over the years. The MacBook Air has always been powerful enough for most everyday tasks like web browsing or office. For several generations, they may even face more intensive tasks: many users logically make MacBook Air their primary system. Of course, a MacBook Air will never be a gamer machine, but the new graphics chip allows them to run more than games from iOS or older titles. Of course, a MacBook Air will never be a graphics workstation, but it does not have major problems with Aperture or Lightroom on the ground. And of course, a MacBook Air is always a great "digital typewriter." If however you are looking for maximum power in a small footprint, take a look at the processor option. Core i5 is then replaced by a Core i7-4650U 1.7GHz able to climb to 3.3 GHz peak and therefore face Xcode, larger photos in Aperture or even footage in FCP X. For the first time, this option offers the good qualities of the MacBook Air: the price-performance ratio remains the same (12% more expensive, you get a machine 12% faster) and autonomy remains excellent.

The screen size is now more than ever a key factor in choosing a MacBook Air, since all are of equal configuration, it is not quite the same thing with an 11-inch MacBook Air and a MacBook Air 13 inches. The 11-inch MacBook Air is obviously more mobile, smaller and lighter than 13 inches. Its screen has a higher than the MacBook Pro 13-inch (1366 x 768 px) definition, but its 16:9 aspect ratio is a bit narrow in height. It is a little less comfortable and first made for the road with eight hours of battery life. However, do not forget that you can connect a MacBook Air to an external display (Thunderbolt / DisplayPort or HDMI / DVI / VGA via adapter). The MacBook Air 13-inch is a little more traditional: a full size keyboard and trackpad are as comfortable as those of the MacBook Pro. And a screen 1440 x 900 pixel is defined as the 13-inch MacBook Pro! It is a machine and all terrain use. It actually takes the place of the iBook or MacBook in the role of the machine quite capable, but no frills, at a reasonable price and with exceptional battery life of 12 hours.

While most of the MacBook Pro and iMac come with 8 GB of RAM, the MacBook Air comes with 4 GB of RAM. Apple sells its very expensive RAM, but you have no choice but to buy from it: the MacBook Air RAM modules are welded. Maybe if your budget is limited, choose staffing memory than storage. The SSD MacBook Air anyway narrow and require the use of external storage, so as to make the most economical choice and more beneficial in the long term. Again, you can never increase the RAM of the MacBook Air, then you will have no trouble to change his cap SSD or to add an external drive. Some probably expect Apple may finally decide to build the MacBook Air with a Retina display. It is true that the integrated graphics solutions make anything possible today, but this time Apple has special autonomy (up) and the price (down). Furthermore, the Retina large screens still suffer from problems of production and quality that still differs a little MacBook Air.

More about Firefox 22

Mozilla has released the latest version of the popular browser which promises direct, real-time communications for voice, video and data. The controversial for blocking third-party cookies is once turned off. Externally there is nothing fresh to see in Firefox22. All new features are hidden under the hood. With Firefox 22, the developers have once again put together a comprehensive package, which is available to all users for immediate download. The main innovation of the new Firefox browser is the comprehensive support of WebRTC. This is a relatively new, open standard that will transform communications in the network sustainable. Specifically, WebRTC is composed of different interfaces, which allows the transmission of audio and video signals as well as the exchange of files between different browsers. The individual elements of the standards had been incorporated in previous versions of Mozilla but now it is activated as a full package in Firefox 22 for the first time. Besides Mozilla is also a pioneer in the development of Google WebRTC both Firefox and Chrome only supports this technology.

Both swapping files and Internet telephony are nothing new in Mozilla or Google. But instead, for example, specially having to install Skype for video chat, the chat with friends (theoretically) works on any PC that can be found on the Firefox or Chrome. To use the technique; yet still lacking the appropriate applications in most of the web browsers. While there are a number of sites in the network for testing the function - such as AppRTC for video calling - for everyday use which are not. With the Talkilla Mozilla though operates on a promising project for the integration of functions and user interface - however, this ambitious project is still at a very early stage of development.

Mozilla's announcement of third-party cookies from Firefox to disable 22 by default, made primarily in the advertising industry for abdominal pain. Despite heavy criticism from the industry Mozilla is sticking to the blockade of third-party cookies, but his plan must be delayed because of technical problems. To see the menu under Privacy, although the option to reject third party cookies always, after installing Firefox 22 but this is not automatically enabled. The third major new feature of Firefox 22 refers to the faster execution of JavaScript code and listens to the name OdinMonkey. Thanks to this optimization module, the calculation of complex pages will henceforth succeed much faster. To demonstrate the efficiency of the technique, Mozilla has made the 3D games famous Unreal Engine 3 packed in collaboration with Epic Games in the browser. In the future, should be implemented as well as graphically demanding games in Firefox. Check the speed of websites show the technical changes of Mozilla effect. Especially in heavy SunSpider JavaScript test makes the new version of Firefox in comparison to its predecessor a strong push forward. Windows 8.1 named Windows Blue!

Under the code name Blue Microsoft is working on a future release of Windows 8 we have all the important information about the new operating system for you compiled. Compared to its predecessors, Microsoft Windows 8 makes for much else. With a new operating concept (Metro interface) appears to be the operating system of the software giant as an all-rounder. But some users react negatively at first contact. Some enhancements have not been thought through. At Microsoft, therefore already they are working on a successor who will make things a lot better.

How the Windows Tami Reller confirms while talking to Mary Jo Foley, the internal code name Blue is a major update of Windows 8; Blue also represents a new publishing Microsoft strategy: Instead of bringing out a new operating system as before, every three years, to the current Windows in future receive a generous annual revision cycle. As Microsoft officially confirmed, comes with Windows 8.1, the first update yet launched in 2013. According to Microsoft there are some new features of Windows 8.1 will be officially awarded? Accordingly, the update brings back the missing of many users start button. By clicking through to the start screen, the start menu of the predecessor obviously does not find its way into Windows 8 Can also request the desktop wallpaper use for the start screen. So far, it has not been possible to start the Windows 8 computer immediately in the desktop mode. Also the changes with Windows 8.1 can be only available for users of Windows 8 Pro. Microsoft plans to integrate its own search engine, Bing. There are also improvements to the photo and mail service, as well as SkyDrive and camera. Internet Explorer 11 is part of Windows 8.1, at the end of June it is expected to be available for all Windows 8 users.

At the end of March has come to the Internet an early version of Windows 8.1. We guess. The example for this is the Windows Phone 8. It contains the tile surface makeover: Similar to the new Windows Phone 8 can be zoomed in and out tiles. You can also select and move several tiles at the same time. And instead of 20 colors define users with Windows blue of a spacious background and buttons. In Windows 8, there were only 20 color combinations for the new Start Center. It is colorful with Blue: Now you can create hundreds of color combinations for the background of the buttons from Windows to a smooth color control. The good old familiar Windows 8 background patterns are still present.

The diverse speculations, when Microsoft released an official version of the new Windows, Julie Larson-Green has put an end to. In early May, announced the developer's head of Windows that for 26 July 2013 a public beta version of Windows 8.1 is planned for all Windows 8 users. Microsoft will release version within the build-house developer’s conference 2013, which of 25 to 28 June runs in San Francisco. Then the update will be distributed through the Windows Store for Windows 8 and The final version should released. Microsoft's traditional strategy of the release of a new version of Windows every three years is not sustainable in today's highly mobile world. The company had no choice but to change. Microsoft now competitive with Apple that will eventually bring out a new version of Windows in cyclic and for this the first step is Instead of Windows service packs it should now pull in new functions. On the contrary, Microsoft shifted step by step functions of the traditional surface into the new tile surface. On the desktop itself, there are (so far) no significant changes. To see more, You have to wait till June end.

AMD wants to add Jaguar in servers!

AMD seems to stake everything on their new Jaguar architecture. They have been planted already in the heart of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after the other; it will be soon land in our laptops, and tablet PCs via hybrid SoC Kabini and Temash. Today, the company announced a further step ahead, as it is now the servers that are specified with the X1150 and X2150 Opteron. Jaguar continues to make its little way and landed in the servers via the Kyoto generation chips, known as references Opteron X1150 and X2150. Yes, when AMD wants, it is able to make simple and effective name, far from what is imposed on us in the consumer market. Thus, the main difference between these two chips is the presence or absence of a graphical part (X2150 only) and the minimum TDP is 9 watts or 11 watts. Maximum, this value will increase to 17 or 22 watts. This discrepancy is explained by the possibility left to the user to set the frequency in the BIOS to adjust its need heating term that is Flexible TDP.

It is of course the architecture GCN (Graphics Core Next) Radeon HD 7000 is going to be used through 128 processing units, but under the name HD 8000. The functionality of video compression and decompression hardware be also present. If Intel starts pushing his QSV solution and the Media SDK on servers, the Texan also seems to be the big competitor of the pie. Each model will have four cores at its CPU, with a maximum frequency of 1.9 GHz (X2150) or 2 GHz (X1150). At the GPU side it will vary this value from 266 MHz to 600 MHz depending on the case. For the rest, everything is the same: a maximum of 32GB of DDR3 is supported and eight PCIe 2.0 lanes, eight USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and two GB / s Serial ATA ports 6 are found. Everything is in a BGA type packaging 24.5 x 24.5 mm.

AMD still has some clear advantages to play, as this segment of the general public. But in both cases, the quality of image could actually help to convince the customer. We'll see what it is in practice, the inertia in terms of changing attitudes is even more important in the world of servers.

Flickr offers 1TB of storage now!

Flickr is one of the Yahoo! site dedicated to sharing photos and it has just now received a significant update. All its users are now entitled to 1 TB of storage for their photos, which can store more than 400,000 photos taken with your Smartphone. This storage space is totally free, but the site does not abandon paying formulas. Very important thing is; with this storage, Flickr wants to highlight the images in their native resolution. A new design supports the change and focus on the images in the same spirit as 500px, a competing service. The images are thus put forward with; they always have more space on the page and displays in Flickr albums and photos that are much more modern than previous time. Following the trend of the moment, each account is associated with a cover image to select from the photos. The effect is very successful, provided at least enough to have great pictures. While viewing a photo, we see almost more than the image. Technical information associated with the picture, comments and other elements are relegated to a second zone and must scroll down to see everything.

Logic for this site that wants to highlight photos of yourchoice, but it will find its bearings. Same story on the home page that totally changes to highlight the latest images from Flickr accounts you are following. Thus we find a column with their latest additions and a sidebar with some elements put forward by the site. Also at the top of its sidebar is meant for advertising: and because it is now the only justification for pay. Until then, Flickr proposed two fairly simple formulas: one free was limited to 300 MB of photos per month and a small number of albums, while the other, pay, unlimited use of the site and allowed to store and organize all your photos without limits. With this new formula is a little more complicated ... The free offer limited to 1 TB of photos, but you no longer have a monthly limit and you can store all the photos or videos you want, as you follow the general limit. It must also rely on some constraints, such as a three-minute limit for videos and 200 MB for each photo, plenty to do.

The pro offers Flickr will disappear. All those who currently have a subscription will retain the benefits until the end of their period and then they can renew their subscription. They can keep their benefits and will not see advertising, but other users can no longer subscribe to the pay offer. We can, however, purchase a paid subscription, but the basic formula just removes the ads. For about € 40 a year, you will not see advertisement on the site, but you do not have storage space and more. To store more images, you have to subscribe additional one TB that adds another terabyte (2TB total) for 390 € about the year. It's expensive, but for comparison, Google charges the same storage space $ 100 per month. Still supply Flickr pro was more interesting for twenty dollars a year; you could use the site without limits storage space.

If you still have an old subscription, you have more benefits in keeping it. The new site fits up to a certain point on your screen for Smartphones it will always turn to mobile applications. Yahoo! has just announced the release of a new Android application that uses the new Flickr on the iOS App Store. Although some changes are going to happen, especially on the issue of the maximum amount of pictures to be stored, this update of Flickr is unquestionably necessary and is successful in all. The new modern design is nice and highlighting original photos to the best.

Microsoft trying to get iTunes for Windows 8!

Microsoft, which now has about 60,000 apps in the Windows Store, likes to think that Apple will unveil a version of iTunes for Windows 8. American society also presses the Cupertino Company to do so. But officially, said aware that this is certainly not right away. Many applications come in the Windows Store since the launch of Windows 8 in October. Microsoft announced and 60,000 are now identified and that by next fall, the kiosk should include key. But it is one that the Redmond giant would certainly see happen is iTunes. In fact, according to The Verge, which seems to have sources close to the matter, the main query that made by their users in the Windows Store is the service of video, music and Apple applications. Our colleagues add that Microsoft is in talks with the Cupertino Company to get things done, but in the end, nothing happens at the moment.

In an interview between CNNMoney and Tami Reller, the new head of Microsoft finance gives a message that wants clearer that “You should not expect to see iTunes for Windows 8 before ages. Demand for iTunes is very strong. The red carpet has been prepared. It's not for lack of trying. “This message is actually very clear; Apple seems to slow their heels. This is reminiscent of the words of Bill Gates with Office a few days ago by the way, which indicated that only Microsoft platforms were entitled to the suite and it was a real plus in the world of tablets. The question is whether Apple will still change its mind sooner or later. While sales of Windows 8 just crossed the 100 million copies sold, it remains that the installed base with other versions of Windows machines is much more important. It definitely is a competitor service. But for now, there is no real competition to iTunes in terms of volume to push anything. In addition, no statistical behavior of users of Microsoft booth is available to date to assess the merits of going to this platform yet.
