MWC 2012: Viewsonic overview of dual SIM ViewPhone 4s

Most phones with two SIM slot is dedicated to developing countries, where they change operators depending on time of day to get the best price, and are not necessarily the highest quality.

At the Mobile World Congress, Viewsonic has introduced a device designed for other users of these telephones, professionals who do not want the hassle of a personal device. The ViewPhone 4s is a dual SIM smartphone that has nothing to envy to the iPhone.

The comparison with the iPhone is also obvious: unlike most of Android smartphones that emphasize formats beyond 4 ", the ViewPhone 4s is" satisfied "with a 3.5" screen.
While most Androphones small screen is entry-level models, the slab of phone Viewsonic has the same definition as the Retina display from Apple, 960x640 pixels. Same causes, same effects, it is splendid, although the colors turn more quickly when tilted.

It should nevertheless be compared to the iPhone 4 rather than the iPhone 4S which it shares its name: it has a single processor 1 GHz heart, 4 GB of storage expandable by microSD, a sensor 5 MP at the rear and a sensor VGA front. Viewsonic is still better than many of its competitors by offering Ice Cream Sandwich and non Gingerbread house with an overlay with an emphasis on 3D. The plastics used by Viewsonic seem good, although one can detect a bit of play at the bottom cover, which hides the microSD card and two SIM cards (one is used at a time).

The ViewPhone 4s will be available in the second quarter for € 499, but we were told that any adjustments on the production line could bring down the price from 50 to 100 €.
