The said new chip would be introduced together with the new Red colour choice.

The company is likely to adhere to `s year’ for its line-up for 2017. Possibly named the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, the handset would be retaining the unchanged aluminium design, together with a faster A11 chip and the anticipated iPhone 8 model will be having an OLED display.

Merged by Foxconn-owned Sharp by 2018, Samsung and LG are said to the primary OLED suppliers of Apple. In a news report, Japanese Apple rumour blog Macotakara indicated that the successor to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus would now be in an all new colour.
