These 7 nanometer chips are all set to increase efficiency of the new iPhones and increase the time between charges. These new chips will find a place in Apple’s new iPhones coming out later this year.

But Apple may get some tough competition this year from Samsung as they too have plans for their own 7 nanometer chip. This new Apple iPhone chip apparently goes by the name A12.

Difference between the current iPhone chips and the new ones: 

Current chips in iPhones are of the 10 nanometer variety and the new ones will be 7 nanometers. The new iPhone chip is said to make the new iPhones a lot faster and is seemingly going to be much more efficient than those in current iPhone models.

Another report also states that these new iPhone chips could help run apps faster and make the iPhone go longer without a full charge.

These new iPhone chips will give Apple an edge in a market that is going stagnant. A 2018 iPhone with a new screen?

Apple’s flagship iPhones all have an OLED screen, but Apple plans on bringing out an iPhone in the coming months with a LED screen. This phone will follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 8 Plus and is rumored to target the $700- $800 range, hence the cheaper LCD.

The design on this supposed new iPhone will be based on the iPhone X and will probably have a 6 inch or 6.1 inch screen as well as with the new LCD screen. This new form of LCD will have been developed by LG and there is proof to support this fact too- a supply chain report bearing such information gives credit to the idea that Apple has a new LCD screen iPhone in the pipeline.

This new iPhone with the look of the previous iPhone X model will have a near all bezel free- screen and a new screen with new tech. The tech behind the screen is this – while normal LCD screens have red, green and blue sub- pixels, the new form of LCD known as M+ has an extra sub- bezel which is white, this white sub- bezel gives off more brightness than the other sub- bezels.

Apple has informed service providers to run audio diagnostics and iPhones having the problem will show up as “device could not detect dock” and then the service providers are asked to initiate a repair of the iPhone. Apple will be starting a new video service subscription through its Apple TV. This service will apparently allow subscribers to select a network or on the demand- channels through Apple TV.

Seems Apple has not done away with headphone jacks completely and why would they? This phone is pegged as a budget iPhone, if there ever was such a thing. Recent prowling of the net shows that there are iPhone Pics out there, of the leaked variety, that has a glass back and a headphone jack.

These designs seem to be taking cue from iPhone 5 and let’s just say that we are really liking what we see. What’s more with the new iPhone is that it supports wireless charging too, just like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X models, putting it in line with Apple’s flagship offerings. Now I’m really liking what I see.

There have long since been rumors that Apple is working on another updated iPhone SE smartphone. The first SE iPhone was released back in 2016 with a newer version released the next year with updated specs of course.

WWDC to be held in June maybe the first time Apple may mention a new iPhone SE in the works. On the birthday of the SE iPhone recently, Apple held an event that to launch an education based iPad in Chicago.

Apple may have pushed news of the new SE iPhone to WWDC to be held in June, to make room for the new iPad and so as to not take away focus from the educational iPad.

This supposed low cost iPhone is meant for growing markets and therefore it make sense that Apple would want to retain the headphone jack. Not everyone can afford the wireless Apple earbuds to go along with their iPhones.

The iPhones SE are phones that are meant to serve an audience that can manage on the small screen and miss the headphone jacks.
