iPhone 8 Photos Gets Leaked Suggesting a Redesigned Look

iPhone 8 Photo
iPhone 8 based rumors and reports doesn’t seem to die anytime soon. This being one of the most eagerly awaited gadgets to be unveiled this year has left everyone wishing for something extraordinary. It might come as surprise that the images leaked can turn out to be the very first images of the iPhone 8. Samsung has simply gone ahead with revamping the complete design for the S8 which shows a definite departure from its stable design present in almost every high Samsung gadgets. Apple is also working on the same lines as per the images where a prototype of the handset is shown having a redesigned look.

Reveals from the new images

The pictures made available in the online forums shows the primary hardware for the upcoming iPhone 8. Quite interesting it retains the structure of the iPhone 7 and other who came before it as it offers the similar volume button along with the rounded rectangular design and the power switch. Nothing has changed on this level but a lot of effort has gone towards the extending the length of the device at its sides.

The prominent design change which reflects from the picture is the presence of the long camera hole which now stretches right down the phone. With the launch of the iPhone 6S Apple first brought the large oval opening for the camera as it helped in keeping the dual lens camera setup in the efficient fashion. However in the pictures it can be easily seen that Apple has rotated them to a certain extent so they move down the phone.

Quite interestingly in the images it has been seen that there is no Apple logo present at the back of the phone. In the prototype usually the logo is not present which a norm is but this also helps in pointing fingers at the legitimacy of the images. Secondly Apple would never bow down from retaining the iconic branding on its premier flagship smartphone devices at all. When it comes to thinness, thickness and dimensions this new iPhone happens to be of same physical dimension as seen on the iPhone 7. It is also being speculated that Apple will be following the Samsung lead by bringing a similar edge-to-edge display on its iPhone.

Most of the times the images posted in the online forums and websites tend to end up as being fan made or artistic images. But rumors are strong that this particular set of images happens to be the true prototype though legitimacy is highly questionable.

All these pictures might be a hoax

For all those who are eagerly waiting for the upcoming iPhone 8 should understand that Apple has not yet revealed any information or pictures for this product and these images are likely to merge as hoax in next few months. Apple will be unveiling the new iPhone along with other gadgets in September if the development of the new gadgets doesn’t get delayed in between.

New iPhone 8 Details Reveal Impressive Advanced Technology

iPhone 8
Credit: Oscar Luna Martinez
Apple’s famous rival has already launched its flagship devices for this year’s sales but Apple is quiet about the development made into the creation of next iPhone 8. Samsung has been smart in launching the Galaxy S8 with a revamped refreshing design and thereby gets the advantage of getting into the market first. However Apple is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that iPhone 8 remains the elite device for the consumers to purchase during the last quarter of this year.

Removal of iconic physical home button

Samsung has simply paved way for the Apple to ditch the physical button with the launch of the Galaxy S8. Apple is certainly expected the follow the lead with the removal of the physical home button in the iPhone 8 as per the rumors. And once Apple does it then it will become a trend for other mobile OEMs to follow in the upcoming days but Apple is known for giving a huge boost on its each move. Removing the button will not be a simple affair rather Apple is working towards bringing such a technology which brings more features and functionalities right to the screen to compensate for the removal.

Fingerprint sensor will move away from the front

With Galaxy S8 Samsung has removed the fingerprint sensor from top to the bottom of the device by placing it right beside the camera. Though this move is bit awkward and it will take considerable before one gets accustomed to it. Apple has worked all the year to bring a credible solution for this as per the rumors where fingerprint scanning functionality will be embedded right beneath the touch screen.

Curve design to debut on iPhone

It might appear that Apple is simply ripping off all the important design elements of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in its upcoming iPhone 8. But it is other way around. Reports have already in the media for past six detailing most of the advancement and dramatic design which is expected to be implemented on the upcoming device. Samsung is just reaping the benefit of coming in the market first which such a kind of device.

Apple has worked in close association with a number of suppliers to come with an advanced curved display which works in sync with its homegrown technologies. iPhone 8 will certainly embrace the curved display trend which was pioneered by the Samsung but it will be completely optimized for the iOS platform to lend a completely new persona.

iPhone set to feature a new Touch ID sensor

Apple will be bringing a different style of TouchID sensor for the iPhone 8. Earlier it has been widely reported that Apple is planning to do away with the iconic physical home button with the use of ‘discrete ultrasonic transducers’. This will allow Apple to add some interesting gestures support and lot of magical feature right into the screen which can become the talk of the planet for the rest of the year.

Apple Next iPhone Will Have Curved Screen

iPhone
Apple iPhone 8 rumors don’t tend to go down at all. The latest news has emerged from a reputable media house i.e. The Wall Street Journal which reported that iPhone will opt for a flexible display. It has been found that Apple has placed a huge order for flexible display for its mass production of the iPhone 8. Apple has been closely studying the flexible OLED displays for over a year and it has asked the supplier to furnish prototypes for further research and compatibility with the next iPhone.

If rumors turned out to be true then Apple iPhone will start offering direct competition to the Samsung top end Galaxy S Edge series. Samsung was first major OEM to bring curved screen on a flagship device with the launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Apple testing multiple prototypes

A number of reports has are emerging from varied corners which are suggesting that Apple is investing its time in testing multiple prototypes for its iPhone 8. Apple is simply looking for the best prototype which brings the amalgamation of screen technology and material into the play for its iPhone 8.

Some proptypes makes use of the traditional LCD display while other others boast of OLED & AMOLED. Quite incidentally some of the prototypes don’t even have the classic home button which has become a staple design feature for the iPhones. Apple is performing high end testing of these displays for the glass, aluminum and ceramic chassis.

Enhanced storage for next iPhone

Another rumor has highlighted the fact Apple is considering to release just two models for the iPhone 8 with large storage capability of 64 GB and 128 GB. This means that iPhone will come at a price-tag of anywhere above $1000. It will make Apple iPhone a really high end device which only few will be able to purchase at the end of the day but it also suggests that low cost option will be dumped for once and all.

Just few months ditched the 16GB iPhone when it released the iPhone 7 with the smallest storage option set at 32 GB. It is likely that Apple will continue to follow the suit with setting 64GB at next new base line for the storage option on the iPhone lineup. Rumors related to iPhone 8 are so disparate that one suggests we will get to see three new iPhone models featuring 4.7 inch, 5.5 inch and 5.8 inch version while another suggests that there will be only two devices with 4.7 and 5.5 inch like before.

Like every year Apple next iPhone will be unveiled in the month of September where Cupertino based tech firm will finally showcase what it has been cooking all the year round. One should not forget that this year will be the 10th anniversary for the iconic device of this modern age and Apple will certainly want to bring something new on the plate for the fans and consumers alike.

Apple Leak Reveals Significant iPhone 8 Upgrade

iPhone 8
All the tech freaks and IPhone fanatics have been eagerly waiting for the launch of their latest device iPhone 8. This is believed to be a game changer for its eye watering price, innovative catch up features and all new design. According to new information, this latest iPhone is most expensive in its line, and its super upgraded features make the gadget worth the big price tag. Ming Chi Kuo, KGI security analyst stated that the most reliable and trustworthy Apple tipster is back again, and this time it is sure to cause a massive stir. Along with hosts of new and enhanced features this Apple gadget will feature a compact form factor, and will have a dramatically improved battery life.

Better view with bigger size

Recently, Kuo revealed some of the features of this brand new Apple device, one of them being super compact design. He revealed, that iPhone 8 will have a 5 inch display, but will not be larger than their 4.7 inch phones. This is a standout feature considered to be extremely modern, and has been used till date in the monster phablets. The compact size will make it handy and easily usable with one hand. Apple is going to achieve this look of a 5 inch display in a 4.7 inch phone by cutting the bottom and top bezels.

The extra space available in most modern Smartphone is practically of no use and thus Apple has decided to use that extra space and create a screen extension. The touch ID and iconic home button will be removed and integrated within the display. Well, this technology is not entirely new and was announced by LG in 2016, but Apple seems to have accomplished it before them.

Improved battery performance

Kuo also revealed that this high tech phone will feature a 2,700 MaH battery. It is almost 30% larger than iPhone 7’s 1960 maH battery. The phone will squeeze in this battery using a logic board design, and thus by using this board there will be extra space for fitting in this bigger battery.

Although, Samsung a rival company of Apple has already launched phone with 3000 maH, iOS has always managed to get away with small batteries. This new iPhone launch will feature an OLED display instead of the standard LCD and is sure to offer a better and enhanced experience.

Major leap for Apple

Both externally and internally, iPhone 8 is being considered to be the biggest update in Apple’s history. According to speculations, this new gadget will be names iPhone X and its launch will mark the 10th anniversary of iPhone. During the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus Apple had broken its two year design cycle, and had given the same traditional design to three successive generations.

For this, several critics had accused the mega tech giant company of losing its innovative ability. This had affected the company both in terms of reduced sales figures and lower profit margins. The new and enhanced designs and features of iPhone 8 will definitely accelerate the margin scale.

iPhone 7s Said to Keep Aluminum Design as iPhone 8 Gets Glass With Stainless Steel Frame

iPhone 8
Apple is all set to launch the next generation of iPhone this year after being snubbed for not-so innovative iPhone 7 last year. For this year Apple will be launching iPhone with 4.7 and 5.5 inch screen only. The smaller version will possess the usual aluminum casing while 5.5 inch will come with an undisclosed material while the all new 5.8 inch model will boasts a stainless steel frame. This has been reported by DigiTimes which is Taiwanese and it is known for keeping a tight tab on the Apple’s supply chain.

Not one or two but three iPhones this year

Apple is set to release three different iPhone this year which has taken everyone by surprise. This report is being attributed to sources right from the upstream supply chain. The largest 5.8 new model of the iPhone will feature the Samsung popular OLED display which can easily take the price of this smartphone shooting over $1000.

Apple opting for the OLED display is a smart choice as OLED is praised for its better color accuracy, wider viewing angles, faster response times as well as improvement in image sharpness. The three devices are being rumored to be iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and the iPhone 8 or Apple might go with the iPhone X. Apple is simply keep the tradition intact regardless of the snubbing by launching the upgraded variant of the iPhone 7 along with iPhone 8 this year.

Two actual scenarios which rumor suggests

The first scenario which very likely to play out in future is that Apple will opt for an edge to edge OLED display for its next iPhone range. It will also come loaded with the wireless charging capability and there will be an incremental upgrade to the screen size from traditional 4inch to 4.7 inch display. While the 5.5 inch iPhones will go with the usual LCD display and aluminum design.

The second scenario is that Apple will go on adding lass casing as well as wireless charging for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7s models. Certainly this device will still feature the OLED display along with the much needed longer battery life. Thereby the traditional aluminum design will be left only on the older range of iPhone lineup while the entire latest model from 2017 onwards will opt for the OLED display as well as stainless steel frame.

Over the last couple of weeks a large number of rumors has emerged which showcases a wide number of features which will found on the next iPhone. Apple is expected to remove the iconic home button, 3D camera features, substantial increase in the internal storage space, iris or facial recognition technology along with an improved IP68-rate water resistance.

Though Apple like always has not made any official confirmation for the upcoming features and all of these can be regarded as a mere speculation. Apple will start the production for the next iPhone by next quarter and it will be unveiled in September as always.

Apple iPhone 8 Likely to Cost Above $1000 Thanks To Oled Display

iPhone 8
Nowadays, almost 90 % of the world’s population uses smartphone and there dilemma lies in the fact that which company offers the best smart phone of all times without leading to any malfunctioning. The answer to the most talked about question is right here, as Apple on its 10th anniversary is about to launch the ultimate Smartphone of the era with the price accounting $ 1000 which in Indian Currency is almost equal to Rs 67,025. We know the whole wide variety of iPhones that Apple has launched with the most enticing features of all times that is way better than any other smartphone available in the market. But, the problem lies with its price and because of the hike in range many cannot afford to buy this gadget.

Fast Company resources have confirmed that the top-notch models of smartphones launched by Apple is more likely to have a price exceeding $ 969. We know that this is the price that Apple charges from its customers for a 256 GB supportive iPhone 7 plus in United States. The company has given ample reason to support such a hike in the range of iPhones. They say that they are charging so much only in respect to the top-notch services they guarantee to their customers.

Such news is reported that the iPhone 8 – or iPhone X will have a OLED display of 5.8 inches with spectacular high-definition quality design. These two iPhones will look like monolith that will be absolutely smooth and shiny black. It will also be very sleek to look at. Apple have said that the OLED display used in iPhone 8 and iPhone X is double the price of the general LCD display used in iPhones 7 and iPhones 7 plus.

Apple is bent on increasing the production of OLED for iPhones 8 earlier before the launch of the product in September. Other than this there is another one reason behind such a rise in price as the company have assured that iPhones 8 and X will guarantee you more memory backup than iPhones 7 and iPhones 7 Plus. So, we can find that Apple has justified the point behind charging such high price till date from its customers.

The iPhone 8 and X is also supposed to feature a dual camera similar to iPhone 7. It will also feature higher battery backup, but the exact size of the model is still not disclosed. Further, the buttons related to the functioning of volume and power is likely to be replaced by the inlays present in the model by a sensitive touch.

The update in terms of the front design has also been revealed that instead of aluminum steel frame both the front and the back lining frame will be replaced by glass bodies similar to the design of iPhone 4s. It is also expected that the revenue of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus might increase by the newest launch of iPhone 8.

iPhone 8 Concept Shows Off Display Covering Entire Front of iPhone

iPhone 8
When it comes to standards of making mobile devices, Apple has set the bar pretty high year after year with their iPhone series. With its 10th Anniversary coming up, Apple is set to release its latest addition to the already glistening career of iPhones, the iPhone 8. Mobile geeks and tech enthusiasts from around the world have begun their speculation of what features would the new iPhone 8 have and how would it be different from its previous versions.

What can be expected from the new iPhone?

ConceptsiPhone has recently released a video detailing out the possible design that the new iPhone can have. The most eye catching feature that the video has is the display of the new iPhone, which covers the entire front of the device. Many reports suggest that the iPhone 8 will move towards an all glass design feature straying away from the usual metallic design they implement. However with the new iPhone 8 commercial, it can be seen that the new device will have a similar design as compared to iPhone 7 plus in addition to many newer features.

Apart from these features, the new iPhone 8 shown in the advertisement does not stray away from its original design that has been the company’s pride for many years. The volume button and the side switch designs are influenced by the original iPhone 4 models and a rounded metal frame falsifying the rumor about the new device being made in an iPhone 4 style.

A unique feature that the iPhone 8 can have is the dynamic Home button which performs similar function like the MacBook pro touch bar. However the biggest visual change in the 10th anniversary iPhone would be the use of a curved screen that uses OLED technology. This would mark the first time that an iPhone has a curved screen.

The iPhone 8 will be facing a tough competition with its release as Samsung and Google both are releasing their newest devices at the same time iPhone comes out. To keep its new innovation a step ahead, Apple has implemented an edge-to-edge display that does away with top and bottom bezels and holds features like Touch ID fingerprinting and front facing camera. The touch ID and the camera may be built directly into the display!
Special feature: Wireless charging

The new iPhone is rumored to have a state of the art long range wireless charging system, a first for any iPhone device. Long range wireless charging is superior to other wireless charging systems as it does not require your device to be in close proximity of the charging source.

The news of release of iPhone 8 has indeed caused a lot of stir and with tons of rumors and speculations flying around regarding its features and design. But all we can do is wait for Apple to officially release the iPhone 8 which is sure to be a popular indeed as it has been for many years.

Apple iPhone 8 To Have All Glass Front and Back, Stainless Steel Frame?

iPhone 8
After being snubbed by the fans and critics with lackluster launch of the iPhone 7 which offered a minor upgrade over the iPhone 6s. Apple has decided to do away with ‘S’ model release this year and it is gearing up to launch iPhone 8 during the third quarter of 2017. Rumors mills are working overtime to come up with new insights into the iPhone 8 and this time it points towards a steel frame centre with all glass based rear and front for upcoming device. This means that Apple will do away with the aluminum frame which was seen on its last range of iPhones.

Going with ‘Steel’

This isn’t the first time Apple is going to use steel in the iPhone and it was last seen in the Apple iPhone 4S models. Since then Apple has opted for the aluminum finish for its iPhone range. In another rumor it was confirmed that one of the Apple’s manufacturing partner named Jabil is secretly working on the device body which will have two reinforced glass panels. The steel frame will be utilized to hold the two pieces of glass panels together.

Apple is also being criticized for not offering enough innovation on the table when compared to its rivals after the demise of Jobs. Though Apple has brought Airpods which is a wireless earphones but it doesn’t ranks high in terms of innovation. The subsequent release of the iPhone models are also not so great in terms of innovation when Sony, Samsung and some of the Chinese rivals are bring new hype worthy devices from their stable. Apple is decisively looking for ways of cutting through the competition and brings innovation back in the play by throwing everything in the development of the iPhone 8.

Next generation iPhone 8 to be bold

The new iPhone 8 is expected to sport a new bold design language along with a bezel less OLED display. Samsung will be providing the OLED display panels for this new phone which will render extremely stunning, crisp and beautiful resolution to the users. Apple generates a major portion of its revenue from the sales of iPhone devices. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S were highly successful device from Apple in recent years in terms of number of shipments. iPhone 7 failed to generate enthusiasm and with its slow sales Apple has decided to completely overhaul the design for iPhone 8.

Some of media reports suggests that Apple will be bringing a larger device this time around apart from its usual offering in 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch Plus models. Since the size will be larger so would be the price for the device. With iPhone 7 Apple ditched the 3.5 mm headphone jack and compensated it with Airpods- awireless earphone- which has to be bought separately. Secondly Apple is still fine tuning the performance of the Airpods resulting in missing the Christmas and New Year sales season. Rumors also suggests a sleeker design with invisible home button and wireless charging capability.

Foxconn Tests Wireless Charging for iPhone 8

Foxconn

It has just few weeks since Apple has launched the iPhone 7 which has left a number of fans and critics unhappy with the end product. Still that has not made any dent in the Apple’s iPhone sales which is going off the shelves within a week of its launch at varied markets across the globe. A slew of rumors have started circulating about iPhone 8 and one of which proudly proclaims that it will feature an advanced wireless charging capability. One of the main manufacturing partners of Apple namely Foxconn is effectively working on developing wireless charging modules for the next year’s iPhone iteration.

Apple isn’t the first OEM to experiment with wireless charging

Wireless charging isn’t a bright new concept or other OEMs have not experimented with it at all. Rather it was the Samsung which first brought the wireless charging support in the flagship devices just a few years ago. But given the fact that this will be the first time that iPhone will feature the wireless charging support has helped in creating a buzz among the fans and critics. Among the range of Apple products only Apple Watch has so far made use of the wireless charging technology. It is worth noting that Apple has been hiring a number of engineers right from the wireless charging technologies in order to bring a more secured and effective wireless charging capability to its range of devices.

Foxconn on other hand tried to subdue the rumors by stating that it has already strated manufacturing the wireless charging modules for iPhone 8 but it shouldn’t be taken as a sign it will be brought right into the commercial version of the device. The possible inclusion of the wireless charging capability to the iPhone will depend upon the rate at which Foxconn can increase its yield or wireless charging itself works in the most user friendly manner.

Apple will release an OLED-based iPhone next year

Several reports have emerged in the past couple of months which has hinted towards the possible utilization of OLED based display for upcoming iPhone. These reports have stated in detail that front face of the device will be covered in glass which will allow users to tap even around the screen. The Touch ID finger print sensor will be placed right below the display screen or in simple words it will be artistically baked into the glass.

No confirmation has been made by the Apple regarding the possible use of OLED panels in iPhone 8. But the president of Sharp has accidently leaked this by speaking with the students at the Tating University where he specifically mentioned that even iPhone is moving towards OLED panels. However he didn’t say whether Apple is buying its OLED panels or not for the iPhone 8. Bringing OLED screen to the iPhone will not just bring a better and brighter display to the consumers but it also help in keeping the device sleek and slim.

New iPhone 8 Rumors Reveal Apple's Shiny Surprise

iPhone Rumors

Apple has launched the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus just a month ago which was bashed by the critics for similar design theme as seen in iPhone 6.But it has not dampened the spirit of Apple loyalists who are eagerly awaiting the launch of this device in respective regions. Rumor mills have started working overtime to come up with new thoughts regarding upcoming design theme in iPhone 8. Cook has himself asserted that next generation of iPhone will feature a redefined look which has never been seen before. Here are some suggestions from a renowned industry analyst who offers some insightful details about the possible which will be seen in iPhone 8.

Apple set to enhance the design language in iPhone 8

A renowned industry analyst at KGI Securities named Ming-Chi Kuo has suggested that Apple is working towards bringing drastic changes in terms of design in next version iPhone. Apple is expected to make switch to the curved glass panels which will made available at both the front and back of the device. It is been assumed that this change will be seen in iPhone 8 models in two years of time.

Even users has adopted the design language of jet black iPhone7 will great delight which shows that consumers love glossy and shiny finishes in the smartphone. Apart from making use of glass panels Apple will also be bringing the curved OLED display to iPhone 8 by calling it 2.5 glass. This will help in offering a smooth and completely unblemished exterior to the iPhone users.

iPhone 7 marred with criticism

Apple has made some controversial changes in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus which didn’t go well both with the geeks and critics. This included the removal of headphone jack and change in the home button in latest design change. But most of the users failed to recognize the long term plan of the Apple of improving the overall design and look of the device.

Through simple removal of the headphone jack Apple will be able to bring a design language on iPhone 8 which will feature lesser number of external ports. Through utilization of virtual home button Apple will be simply shifting the ‘on-screen’ home button to the users with a bigger screen size. It also opens up the possibility of bringing an edge to edge screen with lesser bezel and higher compact size in future iterations.

Another thing worth noting is that Apple’s patents are going in the direction of bringing compact and precisely defined device sin future. iPhone 7 is simply paving the way for the transition of the iPhone users to the sleeker and highly compact yet magnificently powerful device in form of iPhone 8 in 24 months time. Apple isn’t much worried about sales as it will remain consistent in upcoming years but the launch of iPhone 8 will again help Apple in wining over the critics and fans alike.
